Sabrina Bartlett - The Larkins

The 29 year-old actress, Sabrina Bartlett, plays the character part of Mariette Larkin in the ITV comedy / drama television series, entitled, The Larkins.

This new television adaptation of the classic novel, The Darling Buds of May by H E Bates, is a vastly inferior and politically correct version of the original television series, that was aired from 1991 to 1993. In that series the character role of Mariette Larkin was played by a stunningly attractive, 22 year-old, Catherine Zeta-Jones.

She's a cracker for sure! Nice fid Mr Gorringe. Could the costume department have got her boots any more comprehensively wrong, though? Unlike the original, where the young CZJ was immaculately dressed with forensic period accuracy...

Sabrina Bartlett is seen wearing both riding breeches and long black shiny leather riding boots in a few scenes, but rather disappointingly nothing that really spectacular so far.

I am, however, rather hoping that there will actually be some more scenes of Sabrina horseback riding, in some of the yet to be aired episodes of The Larkins.
