Got me with the message, love the second model tho

The message was sent by Admiral Chester Nimitz to Admiral William Halsey during the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

The words before the first 'GG' and after the last 'RR' are padding added to make cryptanalysis more difficult.

The message transmitted to Halsey should have read "Where is, repeat, where is Task Force Thirty Four?" but Hasley's radio guys left in "The world wonders" so he read it as "Where is, repeat, where is Task Force Thirty Four? The world wonders."

Hasley took offense at 'The world wonders' part and viewed it as a criticism by Nimitz.
