What size boots?

I am thinking of buying my wife some riding boots (for the bedroom)
she is a size 6uk but should i get 7uk so they fit nice over the jods i brought her?

You have to check (at least) three measures:
shoe size: the one she usually wear except she would have high instep which is not very common for women
circumstance calves: measure the widest part of th elower leg with jodphurs to be worn and after walking a bit
height: usually measured at the inner legs from sole to the inner side of the knee

Usually those three measures can be found within a riding boots and most often are listed at ebay. Height should be not lower than 2 cm than measured because then the circumstance given is too low and your wife would not enjoy walkign in those riding boots.
