I LOVE THE BACK OF THE BOOT, THE SIDE THE FRONT THE SOLE AND, YES THE GARTERS TOO! Zips are not needed! That is unless you are impaired. Some such boots fit like a stocking! Hey, get them in WHITE! Two birds one stone:) A friend in Germany calls them **** boots I agree! Feel the same about laces. The there are what we called lumber jack boots, they lace up from instep to top. They are easy to get on or off.
All that said I do hope YOUR BOOTS are just what YOU want.
