Doctors , Careers day.

Here is the riding boot episode from the Doctors TV soap, its been edited down a little so to set the story rolling here is the synopsis of the beginning.

Its careers day at the boarding school, Jade one of the riding girls is the daughter of the PC………….I am sure you can work out the rest if your interested in the plot otherwise enjoy the boots………they all live happily ever after.

I'm still really gutted that I never knew in advance that an episode like this would ever exists, as like may others I would have undoubtedly recorded it on my dvd player.

Typical of the BBC. They at last show something worth watching and nearly everyone misses it because it's transmitted at 14.00 hours during the week!

Your more than welcome guys and glad you enjoyed the program. I am sure we all miss loads of great daytime programs that occasionally feature riding boots, I was just extremely lucky on this occasion to be having a lazy day off in front of the TV.

My particular love is for the rubber type and it is always a frustration when a pair of boots pops up in a program and the recorder is not ready, but luckily these days most programs are repeated numerous times or +1 hour on all the advertising channels, so the recorder is normally on hand to capture the moment to saviour.

Yes, you did well there blackboot, many thanks! A series to watch out for if it ever appears anywhere is "Grace and Favour". It was a follow up to "Are You Being Served" and was shown in the early 90's. It had most of the original cast but was set in a country hotel! There was a character called "Miss Lovelock" and she appeared in jods & boots in several of the episodes! Don't know the name of the actress but she was gorgeous! I always thought it would be repeated so i could record it, but to my knowledge it never has! Can't get it on DVD either! If anyone ever sees it then it is worth recording!! If anyone finds it on DVD then let me know where i can get a copy!

Episodes six and seven are the best as they all contain the actress Joanne Heywood (who played the charcter of Miss Lovelock) dressed in beige figure hugging riding breeches and long black rubber riding boots.
