The heels on the boots are what you might call a Cuban heel. Once popular for both men and woman's shoes. A bit like the heel on real cowboy boots.
How about a long stocking on a WOODEN LEG?

To be fair, although the first pic wasn't the best because of the heels (I agree with Mr Double B) that final one looks like they're wearing regular riding boots, so actually I think it looks a pretty good pic! :) Keep bringing up more of these!

g boots, I guess I did not make myself clear. The Chinese know about the RIDING BOOTS you see here. The officers of the Chinese army before W.W.II wore the boots you see worn by the models here. It looks like the saddles the police woman use are English and they seem to ride English.
If they want their police woman to wear boots with "Cuban" heels that is their right. I just like the English riding boots worn by woman mounted police in other countries. For me the high heel boot is too much a fashion boot. A police woman in fashion boots looks very unpolice. I do say thanks for the photos however.

Mr. Double B, the women wearing heeled boots are not Chinese mounted policewomen, they are models posing at a mounted police base. The third picture shows real mounted Chinese policewomen and they do wear real ridingboots. You can see the difference.

The photos of Chinese policewomen wearing ridingboots look very appealing. The one on the left of the last photo look kinda attractive too..... I bet she wears white socks underneath, and that she would crave for to take her boots and socks off for a nice foot massage after a hot day wearing the boots........just imagine the lady removing her boots at the cafeteria just to let her feet breathe and to wiggle her toes a bit..... would you offer her a nice foot massage if you happen to be around??
I certainly would offer it..... perhaps she'll enjoy it so much that she doesn't mind having her socks removed as well?? Bet the leather boot and sweaty aroma from her socks will drive me crazy..........
