Genuinely Wanting To Ride...and "ride"...

I am an 18 year old farmboy who will be going to a university with a riding club in september. I was wondering, seens as though I have never riden before and have a fetish for black rubber riding boots (along with wellingtons), should I join? I am rather tall and well built...Could that be a problem?

Hi ridingFarmer - your physique won't be a problem for this site BUT it may be for a horse, especially if you weigh in over 12/12.5 stones UNLESS you know your riding club has cobs/draughts?
